| The Art of Giving - a fund raising dinner and art auction in aid of Maggie's Edinburgh | 16th March 2012 |
Information We are delighted to inform you of an event which we hope will greatly benefit Maggie’s Edinburgh. Next year, the centre expects a substantial shortfall in funding and through this event, with your support, we aim to help fill that gap. You are invited to apply for seats at the dinner and art auction to be held on the evening of Friday, 16th March 2012 at The Corn Exchange Edinburgh. Seats, and tables will be allocated on a strictly first come, first served basis, and many have already been reserved so please contact us soon to reserve your table, or seats. Tables are available for nine guests at a cost of £1000 and the organisers will provide a surprise tenth guest. The surprise guest will either be a representative of the Maggie Cancer Care Centre, an artist, an entertainer or a representative of the sponsor. Individual seats are also available . The evening will commence at 7pm with a drinks reception where there will be the opportunity to view the auction items. A four course gourmet dinner will be served at 8pm with entertainment throughout the evening. Following dinner, an auction of art works by new young Edinburgh based artists will take place, along with other donated items. A raffle will also be held featuring many exciting items.
